Studio Policies
These policies help ensure a smooth and productive learning environment for all students. Please review them carefully.

Lesson expectations
• Students are recommended to practice daily for at least 20–30 minutes to achieve consistent progress and strong results in each lesson.
• Students are expected to arrive on time. Missed lesson time due to late arrival cannot be made up.
• Student misbehavior will not be tolerated. If it significantly disrupts the lesson, the teacher reserves the right to end the session, and any remaining time will be forfeited.

Payment
• Payments are charged on a monthly basis and are due by the first lesson of each month.
• The number of lessons for the following month will be confirmed during the previous month to ensure scheduling availability and avoid payment discrepancies.
• Late payments may incur a fee of up to $10, depending on the length of the delay.

Student Materials
• Learning Materials: Music books, exam fees, and other learning materials are not included in lesson tuition unless otherwise stated

Studio Etiquette
• Food and drinks are not permitted in the studio.
• Please silence phones during lessons.
• No additional guests are permitted in the studio during lessons. One parent may accompany the student; any other guests will be asked to leave.

Cancellation & Make-Ups
• At least a 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations and make up lessons.
• Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed lessons without notice, will not be eligible for a make-up lesson or refund.
• Emergency situations will be considered on a case by case basis.
• If the teacher needs to cancel a lesson, a make-up lesson or alternative arrangement will always be provided.

Vacation/Holding lesson times
• Regular lesson times are reserved only for students with continuous monthly enrollment. Extended absences may result in the lesson time being offered to another student unless otherwise arranged.

Weather/Snow policy
• Lessons will continue as scheduled unless otherwise notified. In cases of severe weather or unsafe travel conditions, lessons may be moved online where possible.

Withdrawls
• Students wishing to withdraw from lessons must provide notice before the next month’s payment is due.
• If notice is not given in advance, any remaining scheduled lessons that have already been paid for will be forfeited and are non-refundable.
